36m motoryacht Delta One NEW

Launched in 2017 by Mulder Shipyard, 36m fast displacement motoryacht Mulder ThirtySix, also known as Delta One, received naval architecture by Van Oossanen, exterior design by Claydon Reeves and interior design by Vickers Studio.

The measurements of this 36m motoryacht were kept just below 300 GT, while maximizing the amount of space for guests and still allowing a flexibility in crew space. She will be LY3 compliant on all aspects. The yacht features the Van Oossanen patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), to ensure comfortable sailing and fuel economy at all speeds. That does not compromise the performance; a maximum speed of 17 knots can be achieved using the twin 847 kW propulsion engines.

The slender, fluent design beats the tendency of yachts becoming wider, as the hull measures about 7.6 metres at its widest point and gradually narrows. This combination of a moderate beam with a long waterline length reduces the yacht’s motions in rough seas and increases the comfort for owner and guests.

To keep the spray from the bow away from the hull, a bow chine has been placed relatively close to the waterline. To reduce the green water on deck when pitching into high waves, the hull has been shaped with an extra chine close to the deck. This results in an optimal experience of comfort onboard and allows maximum use of the exterior space.

The 298 GT has been optimised at all areas on board. The yacht offers generous space to 10 guests in 5 staterooms. The efficient tenderbay area features a Dieseljet, two jetski’s, Seabobs and extensive windsurf-gear.
