For the Laky yard, of Shlisselburg (near St. Petersburg) in Russia, we have carried out the complete naval architecture and engineering of the Stormax 45m motor yacht.
After building a series of very succesful 24m motor yachts, the yard is using their new-built and upgraded facilities to build this 45m yacht to the highest standards.
The styling of the yacht was carried out by Omega Architects, and we worked in very close cooperation with JJC. The yacht is constructed in steel with an aluminium superstructure under Bureau Veritas classification. She features an efficient hull with a bulbuous bow for a generous top speed of 16 knots. The yacht is designed to fall just under the 500GT limit. In the aft peak, a steam room and relaxing space is provided for the guests, as well as storage for a 21′ tender and a waverunner. On the foredeck a touch-and-go helideck is provided.
