Heesen Yachts 5000 D Series

For many of the yachts to leave the succesful Heesen Yard, we have been involved as consultants or as naval architects. This was also the case for the new Heesen yachts 50m Displacement series in 2009, for which we carried out the complete naval architecture.

Besides carrying out the total naval architecture work for the yachts, we are usually involved with many propulsion and performance related aspects of the yachts, design of tank test programs, tank test comissioning, speed and power predictions and propeller design, advice regarding the hull form and appendages. We are also often involved with seakeeping aspects of the yachts, when underway, and also in particular regarding roll-stabilisation when at anchor
