Van Oossanen & Associates have acquired patents on what we have called the "Hull Vane", an appendage to be attached to specific types of hulls that reduces the hydrodynamic resistance.
Research of the possible applications and merits of the Hull Vane, in different conditions and on different ship types, is still in progress. In the course of this project we will extend this section with more information.
