For Heesen Yachts, we did the preliminary design based on Omega Architects' general arragement. The yacht is an all-aluminium fast semi-displacement yacht, with a hard-chine hull form. Together with the people at Heesen yachts, we transformed the concept and GA into a set of drawings to be used by Heesen for the detailed engineering. Our work encompassed a construction plan with the scantlings calculations, weight and stability calculations, resistance and propulsion calculations and model tests and CFD calculations to optimise the orientation of shaft brackets. We also went through the entire general arrangement to achieve a higher level of detail so that all disciplines can work smoothly together based on this set of drawings.

The yacht is currently under construction at Heesen Yachts in Oss.
