In 2007, we were asked by the Regenboog Class Organization to investigate the influence of differences in building methods, hull and crew weight, on the sailing performance of the Regenboog. A research based on CFD and VPP calculations, both for shallow and deep water, showed some serious differences between the boats. The results have been published in an article in De Spiegel der Zeilvaart. The reports are available for download below.
